Blog Guidelines

These are a few blog guidelines that are good to follow.

1) It is never a good idea to give out personally information on the internet.  There are people out there that you do not know, which could lead to some problems.
2) Posting about others without their permission is not only disrespectful, but it also has a negative outlook on your blog if other bloggers see that.
3) It is always a good idea to double check to make sure your grammar is correct and that everything makes since.  If somebody sees that you are not grammatically correct they may not take your blog seriously.
4) Everything on the internet isn't always true, therefore if you want people to trust your blog do not give out incorrect information.
5) Stop and think if any of your post would have a negative affect on you in the future.  Many employers sometimes require you to give them your social networking accounts, or even college scouts may ask for your accounts.  Just because you delete something off the internet doesn't mean you still can't find it.
6) Using bad language on a website will give your website a negative outlook, which means you will not have a successful blog.
7) Never share anyone's last name, this kind of goes along with number one.  Like I said before, it could lead to other problems.
8) It is good to have a blog that is only educational and one that is your personal blog.  Mixing two of them together isn't a good idea.
9) If you decide to publish your opinion make sure that it does not offend anyone.  If you do offend somebody it is not only unprofessional but it will make your blog look bad.
